Empowering our employees and all persons working on our behalf to act in a safe manner and take responsibility for the health, safety and wellbeing of themselves and others.
Ensuring continuous consultation and engagement with our workforce through induction presentations, interactive toolbox talks, daily activity briefings and the sharing of knowledge and achievements.
Recognising collaborative and safe working practices through our Employee/Operative of the Month Scheme.
Our strong safety culture is reinforced by regular site audits from our in-house SHEQ Manager. Combined with ongoing training, proactive monitoring and close engagement with our supply chain this enables us to maintain accident rates consistently below industry benchmarks.
Health & Wellbeing
We believe that promoting physical and mental wellbeing is essential to maintaining a healthy workforce and successful projects.
Wellness and fitness activities are organised throughout the year to encourage active lifestyles and team engagement. We also promote walking/cycling between our London projects and support employees through our Cycle to Work Scheme.
Mental health is equally as important as physical safety. We have site-based trained Mental Health First Aiders and support mental health initiatives through our involvement with Mates in Mind.
By partnering with Mates in Mind, we aim to create a culture where mental health is openly discussed and supported by everyone. We are committed to creating a workplace environment where every individual feels valued, safe and has access to the resources they need to maintain positive mental health and wellbeing.
